O breathe on me, O Breath of God, Fill me with life anew, That I may love the things you love and do what you would do.
O breathe on me, O Breath of God, Until my heart is pure; Until my will is one with yours, To do and to endure.
O breathe on me, O Breath of God, My will to yours incline, Until this selfish part of me Glows with your fire divine.
O breath on me, O Breath of God, So I shall never die, But live with you the perfect life For all eternity.

ALL Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration hour are "unfilled?!?"
Every hour of every day in every place belongs to the Lord. While I may look forward to 'my' hour with the Lord, but I must remind myself it is HIS hour to do with us as He will.
Surely, his preference would be for the chapel to be filled with as many adorers who are called to return that hour to Him in adoration. He can, and He will, still speak an intimate word just for you...
If there is an hour I which you would like to adore, COME fill it for more Jesus! He is waiting for you. Contact Kathy Clark 203 816-7737 to enroll.

The family of Elaine MacDonald would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to friends and the parishioners of Sacred Heart for their kind words and support of our mother, especially to the Ladies of Sacred Heart guilds, the P.E.O International and Father Bill Elser for their outpouring of support and assistance. The church has been a blessing during this difficult time and we will always remember the expressions of love and support.
Dr. Ben Akers, who oversees www.FORMED.org at the Augustine Institute, a Catholic graduate of Theology, has several programs that SHJ parishioners may find informative to watch for Pentecost Sunday. The format of his videos usually includes a knowledgeable guest who along with Dr. Tim Gray helps us live, share and understand our Catholic faith. Two of these programs, each lasting approximately 30 minutes, are "The Holy Spirit in Light of Pentecost" with Dr. Ben Akers and "Discernment and the Holy Spirit" with Dr. Scott Heffinger. It is not too late to obtain your free parish subscription. Go to www.FORMED.org to sign up now.

Just a reminder that Sacred Heart offers Electronic Giving. You can make donations online charging them to a credit card or debiting directly from your bank account. We hope this makes it easier for our parishioners to contribute. Here's how to set it up:
1. Visit the church website at
http://www.hsvsacredheart.com/
2. Locate the Give Online/IRA/Stocks link on the home page, then follow instructions to create your online profile and schedule your recurring contributions. Profile will include setting up a password and the credit card or bank account you prefer to use. After that, you'll just need the password to enter.
3. The next page will include all contributions you may choose to make. You can select monthly, weekly or a one-time contribution. We suggest that your Regular and Building Fund contribu-tions be done monthly on the same date each month, preferably the 5th or the 15th, to make it easier for accounting and to reduce charges to the Church. The envelope contributions will be listed along with the date on the envelope. This will enable you, if you wish, to schedule all of your contributions for the year at one time.
We recommend that you save the Giving Page in your Favorites to make it easier to access. If you need help or have any questions, please contact Larry Stein at 501-226-5105 or 501-204-9074.

Proceeds and donations for this gala event support the education of Seminarians in our Diocese. Special guests are Bishop Taylor, Fr. Jeff Hebert and several Seminarians.
Next week our special collection supports the Catholic Communications Campaign. This campaign connects Catholics with Christ in the United States and developing countries using the internet, televi-sion, radio and print media. Half of the donations collected remain here in our own diocese in order to fund local communications efforts. Your support helps spread the gospel message! Learn more at www.usccb.org/ccc.
"Motherhood then becomes a kind of priesthood. She brings God to man by preparing the flesh in which the soul will be implanted; she brings man to god in offering the child back again to the Creator...she is nature's constant challenge to death, the bearer of cosmic plentitude, the herald of eternal realities, god's greatest cooperator." The Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen

What an honor to carry the wine, hosts, and offerings at Mass for consecration. Gift Bearers actively participate in the celebration of the Mass by presenting the gifts of Bread and Wine at the Offertory. No special skill or permanent ministerial duty required. It enables us to appreciate how God invites man to participate in bringing to fulfilment his handiwork. Sign up in the white binder in the Narthex to be a part of this beautiful and significant part of Mass.

"What Catholic Believe" is a recently added feature on Formed. It answers some of the internet's most asked questions. This feature has added many more discussions, usually lasting 15 minutes or less. Various church scholars answer questions about the beliefs of the Catholic Church. Examples are: "Are Catholics Cannibals?" and "Do you have to listen to EVERY thing the Pope says?" These short programs will help prepare you when you are asked questions regarding our religion. Go to www.FORMED.org to register as a SHJ parishioner for a free subscription.
