Just a reminder that Sacred Heart offers Electronic Giving. You can make donations online charging them to a credit card or debiting directly from your bank account. We hope this makes it easier for our parishioners to contribute. Here's how to set it up:
1. Visit the church website at
http://www.hsvsacredheart.com/
2. Locate the Give Online/IRA/Stocks link on the home page, then follow instructions to create your online profile and schedule your recurring contributions. Profile will include setting up a password and the credit card or bank account you prefer to use. After that, you'll just need the password to enter.
3. The next page will include all contributions you may choose to make. You can select monthly, weekly or a one-time contribution. We suggest that your Regular and Building Fund contribu-tions be done monthly on the same date each month, preferably the 5th or the 15th, to make it easier for accounting and to reduce charges to the Church. The envelope contributions will be listed along with the date on the envelope. This will enable you, if you wish, to schedule all of your contributions for the year at one time.
We recommend that you save the Giving Page in your Favorites to make it easier to access. If you need help or have any questions, please contact Larry Stein at 501-226-5105 or 501-204-9074.

Your merciful love, O God,
we have received in the midst of your temple.
your praise O God, like your name,
reaches the ends of the earth;
your right hand is filled with saving justice.

Adorers are needed for Monday at 3:00 pm and Thursday at 7:00 pm. Come receive the gift of Jesus present in His Blessed Sacrament.
As always, but especially until the PEA coor-dinator position is filled please contact your division leader with questions/concerns. Also, check the PEA website and the chapel bulletin board.
After blessing our parish with 2 years of committed service as coordinator of our Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration ministry, Kathy Clark is stepping away from this position as of July 1. We are, therefore, looking for an adorer willing to step up and serve for at least 2 years. We currently have very capable people as division leaders for the 6 time periods of Adoration, so the coordinator is someone who will work with them and seek to enhance both the number of adorers and encouragement of current adorers to stay committed and grow in the Lord through their time spent weekly in the Chapel. This person will receive needed assistance from Fr. Bill in everything they do, so please call Fr. Bill 501 209-2502 if interested or if you have someone to recommend for this position. Some computer skills are required.

Are you aware that Formed not only provides a variety of home studies, but many times will provide leader and participant guides online. If you would like to do a study, on your own or with a small group, you can do so with aids. "Lectio: Eucharist: Discovering the Mass in the Bible" with Dr. Brant Pitre is an example. During this study you will learn first-hand how Christ's Body and Blood are an integral part of God's plan for our salvation. Go to www.FORMED.org to register as a SHJ parishioner for your free subscription to this study and others.

Heart of Jesus, source of every blessing, I love you and with deep sorrow for my sins, I offer you this poor heart of mine.
May your grace help to make me humble, patient pure and obedient to your will.
Grant that I may live in you and for you.
Give me comfort in my afflictions, health and body, assistance in my daily needs, your blessing on all that I do and the grace of a holy death.
Amen

If you know a fellow parishioner that goes above and beyond in service to our church, please consider nominating them as one of our VIPs (Very Important Parishioners.) You will find nominating forms on the counter in the hallway to the office. Fill it out, place it in the white envelope and then into the manilla envelope. There is a list of all past VIPs there on the counter.
Take a break from the heat and the bustle of everyday life with the One who knows exactly what you need. Come see Jesus with no distractions, any time, any day in the adora-tion chapel. Please CHECK IN as a "visitor" on the I-pad to the right as you enter. Are you willing to share an hour with another adorer? Back up "prayer partners" are responsible for an hour when the regular adorer is unable to fulfill their obligation or if you'd like to adore more frequently, that's certainly possible too!

Summer is here and our village will be enjoying many young visitors. Outdoor activities will keep them busy most of the time, but we also need to plan some worthwhile activities for the down times. Formed has the answer for you. Under the subject title "Kids" you will find entries suitable for toddlers as well as teens and all those in between. For the young, there are "Jesus Stories", "Brother Francis" and the "Slugs and Bugs Show". Those a little older may enjoy the offer-ings on the three seasons of "Marcam", the "Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids" or the "Saints and Heroes Collec-tion". Sign up for your free parish subscription at www.FORMED.org and be prepared for your visitors to be entertained as they learn.
