Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church
Hot Springs Village, Arkansas
Dear Jesus, You have made Yourself present in the Blessed Sacrament because You thirst for me. O dear Lord, I also thirst for you. I want to be one with you. I bow down before you with faith, hope and love, from the depths of my heart. I worship You. Amen

Our new Perpetual Adoration Coordinator is Mike Ritch.
Our parish appreciates and welcomes Mike and his willingness to contribute to this worthy ministry.
See, I have God for my help. The Lord sustains
my soul.
I will sacrifice to you with willing heart,
And praise your name, O Lord, for it is good.

Psalm 54 (53):6,8
The "Search Begins" is a new seven episode series that has been adapted form the Augustine Institute's award winning series "The Search" and can be found on Formed. This series, hosted by Chris Stefanik, is designed to promote discussions with teens search-ing for answers. Modified just for them, the series invites middle and high school students to consider their deepest questions. It addresses death, sorrow happiness, science and faith and encourages honest conversation. Take a look when you register at www.FORMED.org and see if teens in your family would benefit.
Thank you for your generous support of last week's collection! Our contributions will join those from our brothers and sisters worldwide to help Pope Francis in his ministry to the Universal Church, including relief to people in need and support of the Holy See. If you missed the collection, it is not too late to give. Visit www.uscch.org/peters-pence

The Men's Club will be hosting the 5th annual Nine and Dine on Sunday August 11 at Ponce Golf course. The format is a 4 person scramble with a 2 putt max, no bunkers in play. Each player must have a drive even if it's a par 3. Regardless of age and handicap, men will hit from the silver and women from the gold tees. Closest to the pin: Women #4 and Men #7. There will be a shotgun start at 2:30 pm followed by dinner.

There will be homemade chips on each table for starters followed by a buffet of chicken tenders, salad and a pizza assortment with a non-alcoholic beverage. This is considered a fund raiser for the Men's Club calendar. Your attendance will increase our donations to worthy causes.

To register for golf:

2) Your average for 9 holes; no need for GHIN average
3) Anyone you would like included in your four-some (I'll do my best to accommodate all requests)

This endowment was started in late 2015 by 11 parishioners who wished to leave the Sacred Heart Parish a charitable legacy long after they are gone. The endowment will provide an annual payment for our charitable outreach programs in perpetuity. The fund which is set up under the fiduciary care of the Arkansas Community Foundation will provide about $4000.00 annually to our Social Justice and Charita-ble Outreach committee. This amount will grow in size as the Endowment grows. One of the ways you can assist in this growth is to make donations in honor of a deceased friend or acquaintance. As of this date, the endowment is valued at $105,486.00. With questions, please email Dave Witchger at This email address is being protected from spambots.
