The Singles Group have planned a private scenic tour of Lake Ouachita for Thursday, September 19th. We leave the church parking lot at 9:45am after Mass and car pool to the Lake Ouachita Marina. The boat will depart at 10:30am and return to the dock by 12:30pm, to allow ample time for bowlers to attend. Cost is $14.28, payable at the marina prior to boarding. The boat is covered and has facilities on board. Feel free to bring a drink, or snack to enjoy as we motor around the lake and enjoy some early fall foliage (we hope). This activity is now open to all parishioners. If you would like to go, simply sign the sheet in RED SINGLES Book that's on the credenza in the Narthex, or email sIngles.hsvsacredheart@gmail.com and we will add you the list. The second of the FORMED five-part series, "Bread of Life: The Eucharist in Galilee" is "Take Heart, I AM". It addresses the time after the first multiplication of loaves. Dr. Tim Gray reads from scripture, while standing in the Holy Land where Jesus stood and taught on the Eucharist. Take the time to go on FORMED and learn that Christ' teaching on the Eucharist, the source and summit of our beliefs, wasn't reserved solely for the Last Supper. Obtain your free parish subscription to FORMED by going to www.FORMED.org to register.
