Our Card Party this year is called "Cabin Fever" and will be held on Monday, March 25, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. If you have not, as yet, purchased tickets but would like to get a group together to play cards, please call Carol Barrettat 922-0071. Tickets are $7.00 each. This card party will be held in both halls, and has been a sell-out for the past few years! Doors open at 12:00 p.m. for the silent auction; and, there will be a 50/50 raffle with multiple winners. Our famous gift baskets will again be offered as door prizes along with many other prizes. The fourth Wednesday evening Lenten Mass series will be this Wednesday, April 3. The soup and sandwich menu includes Tomato Basil Soup, served with a Grilled Cheese sandwich. This deliciously light meal will be crafted by Parish Life. The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. for Mass and will conclude in the Lower Hall with our soup/sandwich and the fourth section of Bishop Barron's video, "The Mass." All parish men are invited to attend a Parish Retreat at Fletcher Hall in St. John's Center at the Diocese of Little Rock from March 25-28, beginning Monday at 3:00 p.m. and ending Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Father Mauricio Carrasco will lead the retreat which includes Masses, Reconciliation, Stations of the Cross, personal spiritual development, fellowship and social time. The cost is $200 which includes three nights' accomodations, eight meals, and a wonderful Retreat experience. Sign-up sheets are in the narthex. Please sign-up as soon as possible.
Serving as a caregiver can be overwhelming and exhausting. Join Cathy Silk on Wednesday, March 27, as we attend a support group sponsored by Oaklawn Center on Aging at the Good Samaritan Campus. You can go on your own or meet in the narthex of the church at 10:30 a.m. and travel as a group for the 11:00 a.m. class.
