RosaryThe movie "Power in My Hands" has been rescheduled to this Sunday, April 7, at 2:00 p.m.  It is a recently-released film that uncovers the beauty, timelessness and power of the rosary through stories of prominent and ordinary families who give witness to the "power in their hands" - that is, the praying of the rosary.  Come hear of the miracles and blessings that have been experienced because of praying of the rosary.  Popcorn and drinks will be served.
LOSHMembers will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, April 8, in the Lower Hall after daily Mass.  Our featured speaker will be fellow-parishioner Tammi Trompeter.  She will speak on "Balance and Keeping Your Mind Young."  All women are invited to attend.  Our "something extra" will be "Undie Monday" for the Jackson House.  Adult sizes are most in need.
Chicos LogoAs part of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Exemplification for Assembly 2316 on April 6, a "Women's Event" will also be sponsored.  The event will be conducted while the men are being exemplified.  As chair for the event, Ruth Wolfer will be co-ordinating a Fashion Show, and ths fashion expo will feature fashions by Chico's.

The Coronado Center, room 5, will host the show (free-of-charge) from 1:15 to 3:30 p.m.  In addition to the candidate wives and the wives of Sir Knights Assembly 2316 are included.  That said, the number of seats available is limited.  If you are a spouse of a Sir Knight and wold like to attend, please notify Ruth Wolfer by transmitting an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. Mens Club LogoThe next meeting date for the Sacred Heart Men's Club has been changed from April 9 to April 8, 2019.

We will gather in the Upper Hall at 5:00 p.m. to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. A social gathering will follow in the Lower Hall from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m., and dinner will be served before 6:00 p.m. After dinner, Jim Arnold, a member of the Men's Club and a USGA Rules Official, will review the revisions to the rules of golf that took effect this year. After dinner, we will have a short business meeting.

The Men's Club needs for some members to step forward to serve as officers for the coming year. Several positions will be vacated after the May meeting, and we need your cooperation to continue our efforts to pursue our goals of fellowship and charitable donations. AnnunciationWe will celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation this coming Monday, March 25, with Mass at 9:00 a.m. followed immediately by a rosary procession to the monument of the Unborn Child (off from our side parking lot).  Please consider joining your fellow parishioners as we remember the appearance of the Angel Gabriel to Mary.
Bake Sale 1Members of All Saints Guild of the Ladies of the Sacred Heart will be hosting their annual Bake Sale on Palm Sunday after both Masses.  Don't miss out on delicious home-baked goods of all kinds . . . cakes, pies, breads, coffee cakes and even a few cookies!
card gamesOur Card Party this year is called "Cabin Fever" and will be held on Monday, March 25, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  If you have not, as yet, purchased tickets but would like to get a group together to play cards, please call Carol Barrettat 922-0071.  Tickets are $7.00 each.  This card party will be held in both halls, and has been a sell-out for the past few years!  Doors open at 12:00 p.m. for the silent auction; and, there will be a 50/50 raffle with multiple winners.  Our famous gift baskets will again be offered as door prizes along with many other prizes.  Please join us and call Carol for tickets today.

A black leather jacket was taken from the Mardi Gras Party in the Lower Hall on Saturday, March 2.  Please check your closet to see if you have this item.  The black leather jacket that is yours is here at the church.  Also here at the church, is a white Air Force man's jacket in a large size.  It is hanging near the main entry to the church.

Fr. Mauricio Carrasco mugAll parish men are invited to attend a Parish Retreat at Fletcher Hall in St. John's Center at the Diocese of Little Rock from March 25-28, beginning Monday at 3:00 p.m. and ending Thursday at 10:30 a.m.  Father Mauricio Carrasco will lead the retreat which includes Masses, Reconciliation, Stations of the Cross, personal spiritual development, fellowship and social time.  The cost is $200 which includes three nights' accomodations, eight meals, and a wonderful Retreat experience.  Sign-up sheets are in the narthex.  Please sign-up as soon as possible.
