There are audios on formed. org which will remind you of teh beauty of the sacrament of Penance. One is "Confession" by Father Larry Richards. While reminding us of God's loving mercy, he breaks down the Commandments and makes it easy to understand why Confession is necessary. Check online for formed.org.
At one month, the fertilized egg grows and a water-tight sac forms around the egg which helps cushion the growing embryo. The placenta also develops which transfers nutrients and wastes from the mother to the baby. A primitive face also takes form with large dark circles for eyes. Blood cells are taking shape, and circulation will begin. The tiny "heart" tube will beat 65 times a minutes by the end of the fourth week. Please pray for your growing baby and his mother.

It's a musical about baseball!
There is still a chance for you to catch the Vlilage Players as baseball players, their fans, and their foes in the Players production of D*mn Yankees. It's the story of how the underdog Washington Senators found a way to end their losing streak with their arch-rivals, the New York Yankees. Curiously, it came with a secret weapon that was just too tempting for a Senator's superfan to resist - at first. Will good triumph over evil? Will the Senators surprise star player save the game? Will everyone (except maybe one unfortunate "spirit") live happily ever after? To find out, you can still see this production at Fountain Lake High School Auditorium on Saturday, August 3 at 7:00 p.m. or Sunday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m. You can go to www.hsvplayers.com to order tickets.

What could be better than Pizza, Popcorn and an Inspiring Movie in the middle of July? The answer is: Nothing!
We will be showing the movie Breakthrough on Saturday, July 20 after 5:00 p.m. Mass. Along with the pizza, popcorn, soda and sweets, this movie will be available for your enjoyment.
Breakthrough is based on the inspirational true story of one mother's unfaltering love in the face of impossible odds. When Joyce Smith's adopted son John falls through an icy Missouri lake, all hope seems lost. But as John lies lifeless, Joyce refuses to give up. Her steadfast belief inspired those around her to continue to pray for John's recovery, even in the face of every case history and scientific prediction.
Breakthrough is an entralling reminder that faith and love can create a mountain of hope, and sometimes even a miracle. Starring: Chrissy Metz from TV series, This Is Us, as Joyce Smith.
Sign-ups will be in the narthex from July 6-16 so we can gather an accurate count for ordering pizza. (Donations accepted). Questions? Please contact Evelyn Garrison, (501) 204-4134.
