The 40 Days for Life campaign began September 24 and continues until November 2. During this time, parishioners will have an opportunity to participate in activities which promote respect for life. Prayerfully consider what God is calling you to do: say a prayer daily for an unborn child, wear a pro-life button; donate weekly to Jackson House; seek out someone who is grieving, sick or lonely. Stop by the Respect Life display table in the narthex for more information.

Your baby is in its fourth month and measures nearly five inches from head to buttocks and has learned to breathe. This is apparent from the regular movements of his chest, inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid. These actions help the lungs to develop and grow. More developed facial muscles may lead to various expressions, such as squinting and frowning. The baby hears external voices, sleeps and dreams, can grasp with his hands, kick, or even somersaults. Please continue to pray for this special child of God.
