The annual Parish Baby Shower has ended. It added up to only 25% of the amount of items normally donated by both LOSH and our parishioners but we had to take into considera-tion the fact that Mass and the LOSH meeting were cancelled due to the snow storm. We were able to divide the donations and donate them to our two chosen charities: Change Point in Hot Springs and New Beginnings in Benton. They each received baby clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets, toys etc. Karen Feckler delivered to New Beginnings and Jo Ann Arnold to Change Point. In addition, a small amount of money donated by parishioners during the fund-raiser was mailed to each of these charities. None of this could have been accomplished without the donations of parishioners as well as the team of volunteers who made it happen. Thank you for this special blessing that we were able to share with those in need. We pray that both LOSH and our parishioners will once again participate in this worthwhile "Baby Shower" next January.
