Voices Rising, a select vocal ensemble featuring singers from Hot Springs Village and Hot Springs, is please to present "The Twelfth Day of Christmas" at Sacred Heart Church, Epiphany Sunday, January 6, at 3:00 p.m. This approximately 60-minute concert will feature most of the selections Voices Rising presented last month at their Christmas event, ranging from the inspirational "What Sweeter Music" to the festive "Fruitcake." You will hear selections from the full chorus, the "Newbie Quartet," the men of Voices Rising, and solos by three very talented chorus members. And of course, the audience will have the opportunity to join the singers in a Christmas carol medley, and during a very special arrangement of "Peace," featuring "Silent Night."
Sacred Heart parishioners Carolyn Bowers, Bill Lamoureux and Maureen Morgan, and Saint Mary's/Hot Springs parishioner Denise Steinhaus, are among the talented singers of Voices Rising.
A free will offering, to help offset the cost of music and other necessities, will be gratefully accepted.
The parish Epiphany crock pot dinner will follow the concert.
