Thanks to all the Sacred Heart Helping Hands who took the time to update their contact information and to recommit themselves in service to all those parishioners in need of assistance.  We are especially happy to welcome TEN NEW Helping Hands volunteers as a result of our recruitment efforts!  If you somehow missed our summer campaign and would like to join us, simply fill out a volunteer application available in the nearthex, and mail it to the address on the bottom of the form.  Opportunities exist for everyone to help someone!

ONE HUNDRED HELPING HANDS VOLUNTEERS now stand ready to become an "Answer to Someone's Prayer."  We provide visits to parishioners who are homebound or in care facilities, respite for family caregivers, transporation to medical appointments, drivers/escorts for grocery shopping or errands, and regular wellness checks.  Some Helping Hands send Sunshine Cards or make calls to those on the parish Prayer List.  We can also assist in helping locate long-term solutions for ongoing issues.  If you, or a family member, would benefit from any of the services offered by Helping Hands for any registered parishioner, simply call a Coordinator for more information or to make arrangements.
