I hope you have cleared your calendar and plan to join us for all three nights (or at least some) of our mission by lay evangelist Michael Cumbie next Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings (March 23-25) at 6:00 p.m. each evening in church. After listening to him at a statewide Catholic Conference a few years ago, I was eager to present him to the parish and did so through his video series as presented a few years ago during Lent. Now I am happy to say that he will be here in person to help us grow in our Catholic faith and hear how God's grace has led him to "Come Home" to the Catholic faith. If you want to know more about Michael and his evangelical efforts through the Micah Project, log on to www.mikecumbie.org.
Please remember to keep up with the reflections and stories found in our Operation Rice bowl calendar and in the bulletin throughout the Lenten season and grow in solidarity and concern for God's poor. Your monetary donations that you collect in your rice bowls throughout Lent should be returned to us at the end of Lent (hopefully on Holy Thursday before the start of Mass that evening).
