Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Chairman of USCCB, on Evangelization and Catechesis, notes that to ensure a real encounter with Jesus 4 things will occur. Today we share #3:

A realization that I am infinitely loved by God despite my sinfulness.

Romans 8:37-39 (Nothing can separate us from the love of God through Christ Jesus.)

Few encounters of God's infinite love and forgiveness are as intimate as hours spent in Adoration. Come closer to our Dear Lord by adoring for an hour in our Chapel. Each year at Christmas the HSV Village Outreach program provides approximately 500 certificates for a pair of shoes to children in the Jessieville, Fountain Lake and Mountain Pine school districts. The certificates are funded by donations from many churches, individuals and organizations. Every year a decorated "shoebox" is placed in the hallway between the Narthex and the A & E area for donations. If you would like to make a donation, please place your cash or check in the box. Checks are made payable to Sacred Heart with "Shoe fund" on the memo line. Children tend to grow out of/wear out shoes quickly. Please be generous.

A very special thanks to the many people who helped with the organizing and execution of the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration's 10th anniversary celebration. Bishop Taylor's presence (thanks to Fr Bill) was a great blessing. The participation of the Knights, Men's Club, LOSH, and too many more to mention, added up to a successful event and I am humbled by the compliments I have received.
