Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD)

Welcome! We are happy to have you here at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church! Although we have a unique parish with few children and teens, we truly desire to serve everybody in some way. This year we have a Junior Disciples group with 5 children, 6th & 7th graders, who are not yet on the 2 year Confirmation track. We also have a second year confirmation group comprised of 8th & 9th graders who will receive the sacrament in April. We try to be creative in discerning just what our children and teens need. We do this with the Holy Spirit's guidance and dedicated volunteers. Younger children would be addressed according to their specific needs.

Feel free to call or email me with further inquiries.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

Designed for those interested in the possibility of full communion with the Church.  A series of instructions about the Catholic Church and its teachings are presented.  This program is also helpful for both baptized and unbaptized Christians, and members of the parish who wish to refresh their faith.

Sacraments

The sacramental life of the Church is an integral part of our faith.  In the sacraments, we celebrate through ritual and symbol, the Lord’s presence in our lives.
