Our Health and Wellness ministry along with Oakland Center on Aging and McAuley Senior Center will be offering a free Family Caregiver workshops on April 29 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm with lunch provided. These workshops will focus on empowering those who care for people with dementia and other health issues. Information will include an overview of dementia and Alzheimer's disease and provide caregiving tips in order to maintain dignity, respect and quality of life for those living with these afflictions. Additional information will address techniques and tips for caring for your person while caring for yourself.
