"If then my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and heal their land".

(2 Chronicles 7:14) Day 2 of the National Eucharistic Conference
Since one in four people will be affected by a mental health issue at some point in their lives, the church has concern about the silence surrounding mental illness. "The Sanctuary Course: Exploring Faith and Mental Health" is an eight session course on Formed that includes eight films and interactive discussion questions, along with group exercises for small groups, and is designed to address the stigma surrounding mental illness. It explores the reality of mental health and illness as well as the need for faith-based community conversations regarding this topic. Compelling films that feature the stories of Catholics living with mental health challenges accompany the sessions. Access your parish provided account by going to www.FORMED.org  to register as an SHJ parishioner.

God is in his holy place,
God who unites those who dwell in his house;
