The Eucharist is not a potion for power or a portal to the perfect life. It is, rather, a balm, a warm hug, an indescribable gift that compels us to, in turn, give to those around us.

This four episode film series presents the Catholic Church's teaching about death and God's response to it with wisdom and truth, gentleness and compassion. It examines questions like "What happens when we die?, and "How do we prepare for the life to come"? The offering also includes a reference to a site for practical resources. Hurricane Beryl damaged one of the trees in the cemetery, breaking several limbs and leaving an unsightly mess. Gary Wolfer, head of the SHJ Disaster Relief team, was contacted and he reached out for help from two very experienced members, Drinnon Hand and Frank Klier. They worked for over three hours, which included Drinnon climbing up the tree in order to cut the broken limbs. The reworked tree is in the background. Thanks to these men for their hard work! Please consider Sacred Heart's cemetery as the final resting place for you and your family. The Memorial Garden and Columbaria are on church grounds and provide a beautiful, peaceful place to visit and pray. Contact Gary Wolfer 501 204-1192 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
