Fr Bill would like to sincerely thank all those of Sacred Heart Parish whose efforts and generosity helped in making the Cahotlic Charities Golf outing a great success. It generated almost $50,000 to help support the variety of ministries that benefit those in need throughout the year. Special thanks to volunteer coordinator Murray Claassen and the many volunteers who were needed the day of the outing. Parishioner Scott Krantz coordinated the golf part which included 12 teams from SHJ Parish (including a team sponsored by our Knights Council 10208). Last, but not least, Fr Bill thanks all the monetary donors that included 15 hole sponsors ($500 a piece), priest sponsors ($150 a piece) and those who donated other amounts for the cause. When you include the parish contribution and that of Fr Bill and his family almost half the total money collected (around $65,000) came from this parish. It speaks loudly of the compassionate hearts that joined together to reach out to those in need throughout the state of Arkansas.

There seems to be some confusion regarding the "Give Us This Day" and "Word Among Us" books. If you did not sign up and pay in August (the new subscription year has already begun) to receive either of these books, and your name is not on the sheet on the table in from of the books,  PLEASE do not take a book. People have been adding their names to the list and taking a book, which means there are not enough books for those that signed up and paid for one. If you don't see your name on the list and you think you paid, please talk to someone in the office. Thank you!
