No doubt some of you are unaware that our parish is blessed to have a wonderful and needed bereavement ministry that is ready to reach out a caring hand to those who have lost loved ones in death.  Ann Hooper, of our parish, heads and visits in the weeks and months after a loved one has died.  She also offers, periodically, a five-week grief recovery group here at the church and a new group will be starting July 12.

It is a blessing when we can and are willing to connect with people who understand our feelings and behaviors in the time after we lose a loved one, and who can help us sort through feelings in a healthy and faith-filled way.  Please be open to this ministry when the time comes.
