The Sacred Heart Men's Club will meet Tuesday, October 10 at 5:00 p.m. in the Lower hall. All male parishioners or male spouses of parishioners are welcome. Dues remain at $15 with new name tags available for $10. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is at 5:00 p.m. followed by social time. The refreshment center opens upon the Chaplet's completion. The dinner, chicken and dressing with gravy, mashed sweet potato, bacon green beans and a brownie, catered by Melinda's will be served by 6:00 p.m. Cost is $15. The Sacred Heart Grief Support Group is for those who have faced or are facing challenges in their lives, perhaps the death of fa loved one, a spouse, sibling, or child. There may be other events in your life that have shaken your ground such as serious illness, fivorce or something that has made you view life differently. The SHJCC Bereavement MInistry's Grief Support Group is a safe space where we can learn and grow together. We are grateful you have survived and will assist in helping you reclaim your life, increase happiness and be inspired to be the person you were born to be. The Support Group will meet each Monday, October 2 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. We will use a program titled Grieving with Great Hope produced by the Good Mourning Ministry. It comes to us via FORMED; a free subscription to us as SHJ parishioners. The October Council Membership Meeting Tuesday, October3, will take place in the Lower Hall beginning with the rosary at 5:00 p.m. The "online sign-up" process will be used, as in previous meetings, to confirm your attendance. The Singles group here at Sacred Heart is for anyone who is single for any reason, widow, widower or divorced. Being single does not mean you have to be alone. This year's golf tournament benefitting Catholic Charities of Arkansas will be Monday, October 2 at the Granada Golf Course in Hot Springs Village. The cost for a 4 person team is $600 with food, refreshments and on course beverages provided. Tee times are 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for a shotgun start and scramble format. Team prizes will be flighted and there will be closest pin, hole in one, longest and straightest drive contests. If you don't play, consider donating $150 for a priest to play or sponsor a hole for $500. Praise to the Holy Spirit for several adorers who answered the call for the hours of 1-4 a.m.!! A few more individuals are still needed to fully reactivate Perpetual  Eucharistic Adoration prior to our 10th Anniversary in November (not March as erroneously reported in the last announcement). The Eucharistic Heart of Mary will be held December 8-10 at Subiaco Abbey's Country House Retreat Center.  The director/speakers are Debbie Eckert, spiritual director and business owner and Fr John Marconi, spiritual director and priest in the Diocese of Little Rock.
