Join us on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Lower Hall. In addition to the enjoyment of tasting 5 cheeses donated by Kraemer's Cheese and 5 wines from Cork & Bottle matched to the cheeses, there are seven raffle prizes as follows:* Four Gift Certificate Packages each with a value of over $250.00.
* Six gallons of Father Bill's ice cream (priceless).
* A beautiful stained glass piece created by Karen Feckler with a value of $250.00.
* A hand turned wooden bowl donated by Mildred Connolly with a value of $350.00.
We will also have an open auction for a Sunset Cruise for six on Lake Balboa donated by Mike and Anne Webster.
In the interest of accommodating more people who may want to participate in the Raffle Only, we will now be selling tickets to those who cannot attend the Wine & Cheese Event by using the "BUDDY" system. If you have a friend that is attending the WIne & Cheese Event you can give your raffle stub to that person to collect your prize if you win. If you do not have someone to be your "Buddy," so to speak, we will assign a person to be in charge of your stubs and collect your prize or you. Hopefully those of you who have felt left out of the Raffle because you are not available to attend this Event will now feel included and purchase your Raffle tickets. This should fit right in with the Lenten Season and the gift of giving as set forth in Father's Column when he referred to the traditional practices of 'Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving.' Wine & Cheese and Raffle Tickets will be available before and after all of the Masses on the weekends of March 5/6 and March 12/13, and for LOSH members at the meeting on March 14.
