[5:00pm] Men's Club General Membership Meeting w/Wives (Lower Hall)
- Description:
- The first meeting of the 2019-2020 year for the Sacred Heart Men's Club will be on Tuesday, September 10 starting at 5:00 p.m. in the Lower Hall. This is a meeting where the members, their wives or dates, and widows of deceased members, are invited to attend. At 5:00 p.m., you may join others in the Upper Hall to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for family, church, our nation, world peace, and your personal intentions. Social gathering in the Lower Hall is from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. Dinner will be served before 6:00 p.m. Our entertainment for the evening will be music played by Dave Capella on his accordion. Dance or listen as you prefer. The dinner for the evening will be Beef Tips and gravy on buttered noodles, and includes a salad, mixed vegetables, rolls, and ice cream for dessert. The cost of the dinner is $12 per person and will be catered by Johnna. This being the first meeting of our year, $12 annual dues will be collected at the meeting. If you know someone who is not a member, invite him and his wife/date to come and payment of his dues will get him a free dinner.
Also, the Chicken Bake will be held on Friday, September 27, so be ready to sign up to help at this event, one of our two major fundraisers for the year.
