The Balboa Baptist Church, Barcelona Road Baptist Church, Faith Lutheran Church, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and Village Bible Church will all be co-sponsoring and participating in the Crosses for Life Memorial in the Village this year during the month of September.  This statewide outreach project was originally started by Benton Country Right To Life and is now managed by Arkansas Right To Life.  The crosses represent some of the 2000 plus pre-born children that die daily in the United State of America due to abortion.  The displays at each of the churches are to memorialize those children that were aborted and increase public awareness of the devasting effects of abortion.  As you drive by the churches and see the crosses, please say a prayer for the end of abortion in the United States.  Saint Mother Teresa was a champion of life and was quoted saying the following: "And if we can accept that a mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another."  The crosses will be displayed for the  complete month of September.
