Cancer Walk registrations are now $35.  Please join us on Saturday, September 24, for the 15th Annual Village Walk For Cancer Research.  This is the first year the walk will be held at the Balboa Pavilion on Ponce de Leon Drive at 7:30 a.m., rain or shine. Walkers will enjoy the five-mile route on the Balboa and Hernando Trails. Come walk a few feet or walk all five miles for Cancer Research. (No distance is actually required for the walk).  

Our goal for 2016 is to register 600 walkers and raise $50,000 from sponsors, walkers and donors.  We will enjoy free music, brats and hot dogs, water, coffee and fruit.  There will also be a bake sale.  Door prizes will be given away.  Our Church Ministry Team would like Sacred Heart to have representation for this special event.

Proceeds from the event go to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock, for the Bone Marrow Transplant Program.  All funds stay in Arkansas!
