All sessions are on Thursday:

**Afternoon: 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
**Night: 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Ash WednesdayMasses with the imposition of Ashes will take place this Wednesday, February 22, at 9:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Also, remember Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of mandatory fasting for those ages 21-59 and everyone older than 14 is required to abstain from meat on these two days and ALL Fridays during Lent!
Your support of the Ash Wednesday collection, February 22, 2023, will directly fund priests, nuns and others in ministry in our diocese who serve in parishes and communities that, on their own, would be unable to cover their expenses. One hundred percent of every dollar given to the Ash Wednesday collection is used to support missionary work that reaches out and serves Catholics in our own diocese. Your generosity, as always, is greatly appreciated and helps provide the great gift of our faith to our Catholic brothers and sisters in every part of our state.
This is the final weekend we will be collecting old palms. Please bring in any you may have and place them in the bin in the Narthex for burning and proper disposal.
If you are searching for a meaningful way to deepen your prayer life during Lent, you may want to give Eucharistic Adoration a try. We can enroll you for one hour each week until Easter. Call Kathy Clark or any of the division adorers on www.shjpea.com. Above all, trust Jesus to accept your gift of love and return it to you.

Unfilled hours Saturday 1:00 p.m. (Ken Raney 832-922-2383) & Sunday 8:00 p.m. (Don Ritter 224-659-5001). With questions you may contact Kathy Clark at 203-816-7737 or peruse www.shjpea.com as well.

Our annual Baby Shower was an outstanding success for 2023! Our three chsen charities, Catholic Charities Adoption Services in Little Rock, Change Point in Hot Springs, and New Beginnings in Bention each received a carload of items. We distributed a total of 3,289 diapers, 5,742 wipes, 24 blankets (mostly handmade), 274 articles of clothing, 9 diaper bags, a high chair and one booster seat with many additional necessary baby items. Also collected was $1,082 which will be divided among the charities. Our deliverers were Pat Miller, Jo Ann Arnold, and Diane Shaw. We thank them and the volun teers who helped relocate and sort items to the Upper Hall after each Mass and during the week. Thanks to all of our generous parishioners for the donations to this project and for sharing blessings for those in need.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the 138th annual Black and Indian Mission Collection last weekend.  Our prayerful support enables people to come to know Jesus Christ in African American, Native American and Alaska Native Communities in the United States.  Spreading His gospel would not happen without your support.
