St. JudeNow more than ever, we need
to keep our eyes fixed on Christ.

We have to remind ourselves—and those
around us—that before God formed us
in the womb, He knew we would be
exactly where we are today.

But trusting God is easier said than done.

We need something—or someone—
to remind us that nothing is
impossible with God.

That’s where St. Jude comes in.

Tradition says that in the early days of
the Church, Christians had a misplaced
fear of praying to him because his name
was so similar to Judas Iscariot’s.

But St. Jude was so eager to pray for
people that when they did seek his
intercession, he would powerfully
intercede, even for the most
desperate causes.

Now he is the go-to saint
for impossible causes.

We all experience anxiety, but
we don’t have to be stuck in it.

Cultivate a devotion to St. Jude and all
the healing saints, and remember
that God is always in control.

For the next nine days, we would like as many people as possible to participate in a novena to St. Jude.

Novena Prayer to St. Jude

Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant
and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and
invokes you universally, as the patron of
difficult cases, of things almost despaired of.
Pray for us, we are so helpless and alone.

Intercede with God for us that He bring visible
and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.
Come to our assistance in this great need that we
may receive the consolation and help of heaven
in all our necessities, tribulations, and sufferings,
particularly for the peaceful election of a president
who will guide our nation to prosperity, happiness,
and safety; for quick recovery from COVID-19 for
all those suffering; and for a stop to the spread
of this virus,
and that we may praise God
with you and all the saints forever.

We promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be
ever-mindful of this great favor granted us by
God and to always honor you as our special
and powerful patron, and to gratefully
encourage devotion to you.

Amen.

Let us pray:

May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored
and loved in all the tabernacles until
the end of time. Amen.

May the most Sacred Heart of Jesus be
praised and glorified now and forever. Amen.

St. Jude, pray for us, and hear our prayers. Amen.

Blessed be the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Blessed be the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Blessed be St. Jude Thaddeus, in all
the world and for all Eternity.
